Born and raised in Geumsan—a region renowned for its rich history as the birthplace of Korean ginseng—I have devoted my life to the cultivation and development of ginseng and health-related products. With a master’s degree in herbal medicine, experience as the chairperson of a medical foundation, and over 30 years of running an herbal medicine clinic, I bring extensive expertise to my role as chairman of the Geumsan Ginseng Cooperative. My mission is to produce the highest-quality ginseng products through rigorous clinical research, innovative market exploration, and the development of unique, patented offerings.

Despite the abundance of red and black ginseng products on the market, significant variations in quality, price, and reliability still exist. I have noticed that consumers often search for a trusted brand rather than simply looking for "red ginseng." This realization motivated me to establish the Geumsan Ginseng Cooperative—to offer authentic, reliable red and black ginseng products at fair prices, free from inflated brand markups. By eliminating intermediaries and distributing directly to consumers both online and offline, we not only ensure affordability but also support our farmers with stable incomes.
